Originally from Aizu, a snowy region of Japan, the artist creates glazes inspired by the light that filters through the winter snow of their hometown.
This original sake cup was created for Kenkonichi, a sake brewery in Miyagi Prefecture, where Satomi Kiln is also based. It was thoughtfully designed to enhance the aroma of sake, provide a smooth and pleasant drinking experience, and fit comfortably and naturally in the hand.
