RAIZIN is a new style of craft sake that brings together traditional sake brewing techniques and the delicate aroma of Japanese black tea. This sparkling sake develops its fine bubbles through secondary fermentation in the bottle, the same principle used in Champagne.

The brewery was founded by Mr. Izawa, the former owner of a historic sake brewery in Sendai with over 300 years of heritage and a Champion Sake title at an international competition. Drawing on this wealth of brewing expertise, his new venture explores fresh possibilities in the world of craft sake.

RAIZIN is made with premium Japanese black tea from Ocha no Igeta, a historic tea merchant in Sendai. The tea is carefully infused overnight to draw out its rich aroma and natural sweetness.

On the palate, delicate floral aromas and juicy apple notes unfold, complemented by a gentle sweetness and refreshing acidity. A subtle aroma of Japanese black tea lingers on the finish, while fine, delicate bubbles create a light and beautifully balanced taste.

The 500ml bottle is an ideal size for sharing with a small group. It remains delicious even after the bubbles have faded.

With a relatively low alcohol content of 7%, RAIZIN is light and easy to enjoy. It can also be served over ice, which further enhances its refreshing character and delicate tea aromas.
